As part of our preparations for the renovations of the church interior, we are holding a series of discussions guided by the Built of Living Stones document that the US bishops issued. We’ll discuss the Church’s teaching and liturgical theology and also reflect upon our parish history and individual tastes. We want your participation as we renovate the structure and renew our parish community.
The sessions will be held at church on three Sundays: February 25, March 3 and 10 at both 12:30 PM and 6 PM.
As we enter the 175th year of our parish, the Trustees and Parish Pastoral Council wrote an update about coming events and areas where further volunteers are needed to sustain parish ministries and activities. Printed copies are available in the back of the church. You can also view it online.
Have we each had the experience of just wanting to say would just come to the point? Stop all the words, just tell me what you want. Have we all had one of those moments? And I’m willing to bet if you were to tell the truth, you would say that after listening to many homilies, you just want to say, Father, just get to the point.
