This Ash Wednesday, we invite you to join our mailing list, which is sent out weekly to update you about all of the activities of our Catholic community.
3 years in the making, St. Charles is featured in this week’s episode of the Emmy-winning documentary series “City of Churches”.
For Lent, take some time out of your busy schedule for prayer with Jesus at the Church:
Eucharistic Adoration: Monday-Friday from 9 am to noon – come by anytime in the morning for a few minutes or an hour of quiet prayer and meditation.
Taize Prayer Group: Mondays at 7:30 pm – ecumenical group meditation
All are welcome!
Fr. Ed was featured on the show “Currents” on Ash Wednesday.
Fr. Ed and the parish staff distributed ashes to over 900 people throughout the day on Ash Wednesday. In addition to masses at St. Charles, we were at the DUMBO Arch in the morning.
On October 28, 12 new members were welcomed into our community in Baptism. This was the largest number of baptisms ever held at St. Charles at one time: according to Fr. Ed, the previous record was 11 in the late 1800’s. Congratulations and blessings for them, their families and their new godparents. All photos by Guy Noe.
