Veteran’s Day Project
The Outreach Committee believes that one way our St. Charles parish can celebrate Veteran’s Day is by offering our hospitalized service men and women small tokens of our appreciation for their service to our country. We would like to extend this to the patients residing at the V.A. Hospital located at 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY. Suggested items are large print puzzle books, regular playing cards, new men’s tee-shirts, boxers, briefs (sizes M-XL), new men’s jackets (sizes M-XXL), and toiletries such as disposable razors, shaving cream (in plastic containers), deodorant and shampoo. Collection bags will be in the back of the church Oct. 14th and Oct. 24th.
